hello hello~! i hope u guys are doing good these days. the title was a miss A reference btw.
unfortunately, i start school again on wednesday and i'm not very excited at all. this break was great and much needed, i just don't want it to be over.
i'm gonna miss u guys tho, seriously. u made my days happy and reading ur posts is something i always looked forward to when i woke up everyday! so thank u for (virtually) spending the holidays with me. GROUP HUGGG!!!!!
on a better note, i've officially joined the commuter club!! i was finally approved to live off-campus today. not only will i get to live at home full time, but it saves my family some money. i'll definitely have to wake up earlier to make sure i get to class on time, but i'm not too worried bc i've never really struggled with managing my time in the morning. (in fact, when i was in high school i used to wake up like 40mins before i got up to get dressed just so i could spend the time laying in bed on my phone...)
besides school, we've had a bunch of birthdays in my family recently! my little cousin, both my grandmas, and kali had their birthdays. my sweet kali turned one years old!! ❤︎
i've been also trying to think of ideas for a new layout, but idk! i sometimes think that if spacehey allowed layout to be posted again, i would not have much to provide, lol. maybe i need to become more of a media consumer so i can gather inspiration and ideas. what's ur guys' creative process for coming up with layouts?
OH ALSO!! i saw a news station on tiktok earlier talking about bts releasing a new album soon and i'm so excited!!! literally just the other night my sister and i were watching those "bts funny moments" videos we used to watch back in like 2018-2019. sure, the videos are quite unfunny now but they were seriously a product of their time, okay.. i miss it and i wanna go backkk :,)
anyhow, i guess i'll be going now, but i just want u guys to know i love uuuu~ please take care of yourselves, sicknesses are going around. have a safe and relaxing weekend, talk soon~!

miss A reference caught (taste never left). school starting again is always such a cold slap, breaks end way too fast for people who actually needed them. BUT commuter club is a huge win!!! (the 40 mins doomscroll-in-bed is painfully real.) happy birthdays to everyone and omg kali turning one… so cute ;_;
group hug right back ;; checking posts every day rewired my brain too~~ layout-wise, i feel you on the inspiration drought.... my very scientific process: get motivation from you and eugene, open pinterest, find a cool pfp, build everything around it, mess with colours, thank my vpn, open pinterest again… then get lazy ㅠㅠ

OOOOOO NEW LAYOUT? v interesting~ hmmmmm... when i want to come up with a new layout, i figure out what aesthetic or motifs i want to highlight, then build a color palette to work with. i also take a lot of inspo from songs i'm in love with, since listening to them gives me a lot of colors and imagery that it reminds me of. and then i like. put the song and the aesthetic together. metalheart and breakcore, desserts and electropop, plants and rain with daphne loves derby... that sort of thing. and then i find a pfp, settle on one song, and that's pretty much it.
it's rather exciting so many big artists are coming back this year; to see everyone coming back together again, all the names from when we first got into kpop... like... OH. i dunno how else to explain it lolz. i can't wait to see how things unfold.

exactly, i'm so heartbroken. i don't wanna go back, ughhh. but i'm trying to look on the bright side of things, and i'm hoping for a good spring semester. at least now i can look forward to spring and summer break~ and yes, kali is growing up so fast :,)
