hellooo, i've returned!! how are you guys? just a fair warning, this blog may be a bit long....
my week has been quite full of mild inconveniences. i started school again on monday, and i was extremely nervous. it wasn't even necessarily about the classes, but about my tuition. at the beginning of every semester, all students are expected to be financially cleared by a certain date in order to keep their classes. and since i wasn't financially cleared, i was STRESSINGGGGG.
i went up to my school's administrative office on monday to see if i could meet with someone, but i was told i had to make an appointment, so i scheduled it for tuesday at 11:30. y'all.. it was so backed up in that office that i didn't get called back until like 1:30. luckily, i was somehow able to get the necessary financial clearance and i left that office feeling great.
however, there was still another thing to take care of. my housing! a while back i noticed that my school was charging me residence hall fees, but i live at home... so i had been trying to apply for off campus housing for a while, but the system was not working for me. i input all the information correctly, uploaded all the files asked of me, and checked all the boxes, but every time i pressed the submit button i received an error message. well, i finally managed to get in contact with someone who helped me troubleshoot it and y'all won't believe what the problem was.
it was the FREAKING FILE FORMAT.
i had originally uploaded a file as a screenshot, and the system couldn't recognize it or something, so the troubleshoot man changed the file name and reuploaded it, and it immediately went through. i was in such disbelief. LIKE ARE YOU JOKING ME?!? technically tho, i found a flaw in the code!! i think that's pretty cool, hehe~
anyways, i'm just glad that's all over with. tomorrow, i have to go back to the administrative office to get a semester sticker for my student id, a decal for my car, and get a textbook for one of my classes.
other than the tough situations, school has been okay so far. my classes are okay. i get to take a programming class where i learn c++, so that's exciting~ and i have a multimedia applications class where i get to be super creative using different, um.. media. one of my first assignments is to make a video explaining in detail how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
i don't have classes on friday, so i'm really excited. this is the first time in my college career where i have one weekday off!!! (≧∇≦)
i think i will use it to make a new layout for myself. i'm ngl, the one i have now is kind of boring me. it's too dull, so i want to make something else. i just need some time to think...
i really want the fall weather to come because i can't bear the heat anymore.. i almost died outside.
✿ for lunch today, i ate the sweetest kiwi ever. the first one was so good i had to double it! eating them made me think of frozen kiwi, and now i think i'd like to try it! ✿

I'm doing really well, thank you for asking hehe. It was really cool and interesting reading about how your week went at campus, and I also learned something new about the tuition thing. It really sounds stressful, but I'm glad you were finally able to fix the issues. Cause omggg girl, I also faced similar issues from campus, and it's sooo frustrating sometimes, but thankfully it gets solved later lolll. Alsooo, I love seeing your blog's newest updates it's so creative and fun to look at. I'm looking forward to any more designs you come up with, cause it's really nice to see your process! The weather where I'm staying is sooo cold, and the winter season will come to an end too. But having a nice hot coffee in this season feels so great tho hehe. oh cod. college finances are seriously so stressful, and for no reason??? ALSO WHY WERE THEY CHARGING YOU?!?!?!?? i'm glad the application went through, though. are you able to get reimbursed for it? (also file formats are so... urgh. having to convert things from heic (why is that the standard???) to jpg is quick enough, but it's also just. unnecessary. why not just keep them as jpg?)
c++ sounds v exciting indeed~ and multimedia!!! that sounds really fun~ can't wait to hear what u come up with! :D and yay for a day off!!!! it's very convenient, trust.
good luck with the new layout! i know it'll turn out awesome. (also same. i need dear autumn to come back to me... even though i know it'll be just as hot as summer. sad.)

okay, so basically i have to fill out a housing form each year, even if i don't live on campus. and ofc it makes sense now, but i previously assumed that i didn't have to because i live at home. (i wasn't trying to think about school over the summer and look where it got me, lol) but once i get my application approved, the charges should come off my account so i should be good! (i hate heic so bad bc what does that even mean. give me jpg now!!!)
i actually have a self-introduction project that i have to start working on, so i might share it here with you guys! i'm currently really enjoying having fridays off, it's so freeing~

hello and welcome! i'm glad to hear you're doing well :D and yes, the first days back to school were extremely stressful for me. lots of money issues and applications.. it's just a lot! lol. but it's nice to know i'm not alone in the struggle.
aaah i'm jealous!! i wish it was cold here, too. or at least a little cooler. i'm quite eager for winter this year, and i hope we get some snow.
